Kashi Recalls Select Frozen Pizzas Because They May Contain Plastic Fragments

Short Summary: Kashi is recalling approximately 11,000 cases of frozen pizzas, including Mediterranean Thin Crust Pizza, Roasted Vegetable Thin Crust Pizza, and Mushroom Trio and Spinach Thin Crust Pizza due to possible plastic fragments in an ingredient in the pizza crusts. No other Kashi frozen pizzas or other products are included in the recall, and no consumer complaints have been reported. The products were distributed nationwide through U.S. retail grocery stores.

Oak Farms Dairy in Waco Conducts Voluntary Limited Recall of Half Gallon Plastic Bottles of Whole Chocolate Milk, Half Pint Paper Cartons of Whole Chocolate Milk, and Half Pint Paper Cartons of 1% Chocolate Milk Due to Presence of Alkaline Phosphatase in Samples

Short Summary: The Oak Farms Dairy plant in Waco is voluntarily recalling half gallon plastic bottles of whole chocolate milk, half pint paper cartons of whole chocolate milk, and half pint paper cartons of 1% chocolate milk due to the presence of Alkaline Phosphatase found in samples during routine testing. Oak Farms Dairy has received no reports of illnesses related to the affected product and is removing the product from the market out of an abundance of caution.

Bottoms Up

This little game is kinda of little Yahtzee. You are going to need a cup, and 5 little plastic babies (you can get these at a craft store), and a table, tray, or if you have one a Yahtzee board (This is probably best because you pass it around) to dump the babies in.

To play this game you will place the babies into the cup, have a guest shake the cup and then toss the babies onto the “board”. The player who winds up with the most babies with their “bottoms up” wins. If you have a tie you can have a roll off with just the players who tied until you determine a winner.

Birthing Babies

To prepare this game you will need an ice cube tray or two (You may need more but just make sure you have enough to give one to each guest), and some of those little plastic babies you find in the cake decorating section of your local general purpose store. First you need to fill the trays a little under half full. Then freeze the trays overnight. Now place the little plastics babies, one in each cube slot, into the half frozen cubes, and then finish filling the trays and freeze over night again.

At the start of the shower give every guest a frozen baby in there glass and inform them to keep a close watch on their baby. In order to win, once a baby has been unfrozen that guest must announce that their water has broken and present the baby to the host/hostess of the party.

The first baby to be ‘born’, when the ice cube melts and they have presented it to the host/hostess baby is free, wins the game.
